Leading A More Meaningful Life

rh-adminUncategorized

A veteran’s life is not solely defined by their time and service in the military. Despite the obstacles, trauma and loss in many veterans’ experience, they can still lead meaningful lives. We believe that those same challenges can actually provide a source of strength. By working through trauma and loss in therapy, veterans can open up their perspective on what they want to achieve once they are out of the military and shape their vision for a fulfilling future.

At the Road Home Program, we realize that no two experiences in the military are the same. Therefore the therapeutic treatment for each veteran and family member participating in our programs cannot be the same either. We do not prescribe to a one size fits all approach. We do what we know works, tailored to each individual’s unique story, needs and goals.

We recognize that there is often a hesitancy attached to seeking help. Furthermore, during the Covid-19 pandemic, veterans have had limited opportunity to engage in therapy with one-on-one interventions. A terrible reality is that the suicide rate among veterans has increased dramatically. This needs to change. We understand the priceless value of face-to-face therapeutic interventions and will provide them while adhering to all the recommendations of the CDC.

Whether you have experienced the trauma of combat, the isolation that can result from military sexual trauma, or feel that no one truly understands the intense challenges you are facing, the Road Home Program has an open door and an open heart for you.

We are committed to improving the quality of your life through the passion and expertise of our Road Home Program staff. Our goal is to provide the most innovative and cutting-edge treatment, and to strengthen the opportunity for healing and growth of every veteran and family member who walks through our doors.

Everyone, including our veterans, deserve happiness and an authentic feeling of belonging in their community. Carving out a path for their future should certainly honor their military service. But it should also honor the new path they choose ahead. Giving every veteran and their family the proper support they need along their recovery journey is the mission of the Road Home Program. It is always a tremendous honor to serve you, as our veterans have so bravely served our country.

Best wishes and please know that the Road Home team is here for you!
