Kenosha Veterans Celebration & Stand Down
Kenosha county veterans will honor U.S. military men and women who are actively serving and pay tribute to veterans – both past and present, with a celebration and stand down to reach out to homeless veterans and veterans at risk of becoming homeless. Members of both the military community and the general public are invited to attend.

Play Attention: Active Duty and Veteran Family Day at Kohls Children’s Museum
Through the Play Attention program, the Museum works collaboratively with community organizations serving veterans and active duty military personnel, including Thresholds Veterans Project, Great Lakes Naval Base Child Development Centers, USO, The Road Home Program, Illinois Joining Forces and Easter Seals Veterans Community OneSource to invite veterans, active duty military personnel and their families to the Museum to explore and play in the exhibits free of charge while the Museum is closed to the general public.
