Artfully Facing Trauma

Artfully Facing Trauma is a traveling exhibit of artwork created by veterans who participated in the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) art therapy directive of mask-making. This intervention allows individuals to use design and symbolism to express their inner experience of trauma as well as the face they intend to convey to the outside world.

Artfully Facing Trauma

The artwork in this traveling exhibit has been intentionally donated to inspire future veterans to express themselves visually and to show civilians the thoughts and feelings that are often hard to put into words.
