Giving to the Road Home Program
Your support can make a difference in the lives of our veterans and their families. Your donation to the Road Home Program will help our team provide veterans, their spouses, children and other family members the services and resources they need, when they need them.
How to donate:
Have you recently welcomed a loved one home after a deployment? Have you been moved by a friend or neighbor’s efforts on the home front? Is there a platoon leader or comrade who inspired and encouraged you? You can donate to the Road Home Program in memory or honor of your hero.
Rush University Medical Center is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit health care provider. Our mission is to serve the health care needs of the diverse communities in the Chicago area. All donations to the Road Home Program at Rush are tax deductible.
The invisible wounds of war run deep. Many veterans and their families continue to pay a high price for their service to our country. Overcoming the challenges they face takes our entire community. From volunteering at events to attending fundraisers, there are many ways you can show personal support for the veterans and family members among us. To volunteer with the Road Home Program, please call (312) 942-8387 (VETS) or apply here. Volunteer
Warriors Connect has created a national database called OurDataHelps™ to better understand the health and wellbeing needs of Post 9/11 veterans. The confidential information you allow Warriors Connect to access will enable more veterans to receive the right level of care and support when they need it most.
The Road Home Program is one of 13 research institutions across the nation chosen by Warriors Connect to assist with recruitment. It is a testament to Rush’s commitment to serve the veteran community and we urge your participation: http://warriorsconnect.ourdatahelps.org
