Frequently Asked Questions About the Effingham Clinic

The Effingham clinic is open to all veterans, active service members and their families who are struggling with the invisible wounds of PTSD, MST, TBI, and other conditions. Services are offered regardless of length of service, discharge status or ability to pay.

Our services are free but insurance, if you are covered, is accepted.

The clinic accepts referrals from a wide variety of sources including primary care physicians, community mental health professionals, VA clinicians and the Wounded Warrior Project. Self-referrals and referrals by family members and friends are always welcome.

The Road Home Program provides support for family members and loved ones to discuss issues related to reintegration and relationships. Our goal is to empower family members and loved ones with the skills and strengths that allow the entire family to begin to heal. We offer our services to family members even if their veteran is not ready to seek help at this time.
