Accelerated Treatment Program

Veterans and service members struggling still with the invisible wounds of PTSD, MST and related conditions. Services are offered regardless of length of service or discharge status.

Food, lodging, as well as travel expenses for participants will be provided regardless of ability to pay. If the participant is covered by insurance, then the insurance company will be billed. In addition, Road Home picks up all co-pays and outside expenses, which is made possible through the generous support of our charitable partners.

The length of the in-person ATP is two weeks. As a result, participants will attend a daily schedule of programming five days per week, Monday through Friday [7:00 am to 5:30 pm].

An intake specialist will work with the potential participant to determine if the Accelerated Treatment Program is a good fit.

The ATP has a track for individuals who have experienced MST. This is separate from those who experienced other service-related trauma. In the MST track, we have services focusing on holistic wellness, such as trauma-sensitive yoga, art therapy and nutritional consultation.

For individuals with health issues, we have staff who specialize in unique medical issues common among MST survivors. Therefore, these staff can provide assessment and medical care recommendations. The ATP is open to all veterans and service members who have experienced any type of MST, including both females and males.

Family members are an important part of the healing process. With this in mind, we provide virtual programming for family members. Programming for the family member is a separate component, thus occurring in parallel with the ATP. Therefore, its focus is to help the individual learn more about PTSD and how it affects their loved one.
